This two-year SAIT diploma provides a foundation in business and marketing principles, preparing students for careers in content creation, digital analytics, media, sales, promotions, and events. Coursework covers market scanning and segmentation, distribution channel planning, integrated digital communication strategy, product development and pricing, and consumer journey mapping across both business-to-business and business-to-consumer markets. In the final semester, students may take part in an integrative capstone project with peers from other business majors, working on a real challenge faced by a local business or organization. Graduates can pursue professional designations through the Institute of Sales Professionals and the Certified in Management (CIM) designation from the Chartered Managers of Canada. The program suits candidates who are persuasive communicators with strong analytical and project-management skills and an interest in brand strategy and consumer behaviour. Graduates who reach a minimum 2.3 cumulative GPA may progress into SAIT's Bachelor of Business Administration degree. Standard full-time completion is two years, with up to seven years allowed to finish all coursework.
