The Police Foundations program provides an environment that truly allows for theory to be integrated into practice, which creates a strong foundation for success in various fields. The transitional skills I received gave me the confidence to explore different paths in law enforcement, security and emergency management in the public and private sectors. The professors are true subject matter experts in their field and the guidance and advice they provide to students is incredibly valuable and something that I continue to benefit from. Requirements
Admission Requirements: DOMESTIC ACADEMIC ENTRY: an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, or mature-applicant status, plus English at Grade 12 C or U (or an equivalent course). Canadian citizens and permanent residents may meet the English requirement through Seneca's pre-admission test. A secondary-school law course is recommended for success but is not required for admission, and Seneca notes the program calls for a moderate degree of physical fitness.
International applicants must present credentials assessed as equivalent to the Ontario prerequisites above and meet Seneca's certificate/diploma English standard: IELTS Academic 6.0 with no skill under 5.5, PTE Academic 58, CAEL 60, Duolingo 105-110, Cambridge English 169 with no skill under 162, or TOEFL iBT with no skill under 4/6 (20/30). Tests must be less than two years old.
