Program details

Overview

Co-op stream of the three-year Aviation Safety advanced diploma, combining training in aviation regulations, risk assessment, flight data analysis, incident investigation and safety management systems with typically paid full-time co-op work terms completed in person between academic semesters. Eligibility requirements must be maintained, additional co-op fees apply and the search is student-driven with career workshops and one-on-one coaching; students can transfer to the non-co-op stream at any time.

Requirements

Admission Requirements: Admission requires an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, or acceptance as a mature applicant, plus a Grade 12 C or U English course and a Grade 12 C or U mathematics course, each or equivalent. Canadian citizens and permanent residents who fall short of either subject may instead qualify by passing Seneca's own pre-admission test, and the college recommends upgrading for applicants who do not meet the academic subject requirements. International applicants must separately meet Seneca's English-language requirements, with no specific test or score published on the program's own admission page; additional documents or assessments may be requested depending on home country. No portfolio, interview, or GPA minimum is stated.
