This program is only for domestic students.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: Direct entry requires an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (or final-year standing) with Grade 12 English (College or University Preparation), Grade 12 Mathematics for College Technology (or Advanced Functions/Calculus), and Grade 12 Physics (College or University Preparation). English being the language of aviation instruction and of Transport Canada testing, Sault College sets a higher-than-standard language bar for this programme: IELTS Academic 7.0 with no band below 6.5, or PTE Academic 67 with no communicative skill below 65 (CLB 9). Applicants must hold a Transport Canada Category 1 Medical Certificate (CAME), submitted to the Registrar by August 1 of the entry year and issued between September 1 of the prior year and August 31 of the start date. Ontario residents are prioritized, with proof of 12 consecutive months' Ontario residency sometimes required; holders of a Commercial Pilot Licence are not eligible, and students must pass all Semester 1 courses to advance into flight training.
