Sheridan College offers Honours Bachelor of Music Theatre Performance, a honours degree in Performing Arts programme in Oakville, Canada. The programme runs for 4 years, delivered in a hybrid format. Tuition for international students is CAD 39,044 per year (CAD 9,577 per year for local students).
The Honours Bachelor of Music Theatre Performance is a four-year honours baccalaureate degree offered at Sheridan College's Trafalgar Campus in Oakville. The program provides theoretical and practical training across acting, singing and dance, with classes five days a week and individualized tutorials in singing and acting alongside ensemble-based coursework. Students perform in a number of musicals staged each year through Theatre Sheridan in the Mainstage and Studio Theatres at the Trafalgar Campus, in addition to individual performance assessments in each discipline. The curriculum also includes business and entrepreneurial coursework intended to prepare graduates for leadership roles in the entertainment industry or for starting their own production companies, alongside a focus on maintaining personal health and wellness within a demanding performance training environment. By graduation, students are expected to have developed audition-ready skills across acting, singing and dance along with a list of performance credits from their time in the program. The program suits students pursuing a professional performing career in musical theatre who want intensive, individualized training in all three core disciplines rather than a general theatre or music degree.
