You'll also learn how to apply those solutions in ethical ways that protect people and businesses.Learn about many areas of AI and data scienceIn your first semester, you'll study the basics of data analysis and AI principles. You'll then build on that knowledge with advanced skills in programming, data analysis, AI model development, machine learning, data visualization and more. This program also integrates other disciplines such as cloud computing and Internet of Things (IoT) systems, preparing you to work in a broad range of industries.Hands-on experiences that make you job-readyGain experience and build industry connections before you graduate. Apply your skills through class projects solving real-world problems, and practice integrating AI systems with business workflow through a capstone project. You'll then spend your final semester completing a mandatory work-integrated learning experience (co-op work term or workplace simulation) to help you understand industry demands and expectations.Preparation for industry certificationsAs a graduate of Sheridan’s Artificial Intelligence Development and Applications graduate certificate program, you'll be prepared to earn industry-recognized certifications, including: Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) Google Cloud Professional Machine Learning Engineer Microsoft Certified: Azure Al Engineer Associate Certified Data Scientist (CDS) This program aligns with best practices set forth by globally recognized associations such as the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) in the fields of AI, machine learning and data science.Additional informationThis program does not qualify for the International Tuition Exemption Policy. If you obtain domestic status (such as Permanent Resident, Refugee/Protected Person or Canadian Citizen) after beginning the program, you will still be required to pay international tuition fees for the duration of the program. This Ontario College Graduate Certificate offers flexible program tracks to support your unique educational needs and career goals. There are two tracks to choose from: 1-year track (Program Code: PAIDR) The 1-year track includes two semesters of coursework followed by an optional co-op work-term for students who apply and qualify. 2-year track (Program Code: PAIDA) For learners who would benefit from additional Canadian context, this track offers an introductory semester focused on Canada's technology frameworks and practices. The 2-year track includes three semesters of coursework followed by a mandatory work-integrated learning experience (co-op work-term or workplace simulation).
