PGCert in Artificial Intelligence in Engineering

The Master's Certificate in Artificial Intelligence in Engineering is offered through the University of Regina's Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science. The graduate certificate requires 9 credit hours across three courses and is typically completed in one year, on a full-time or part-time basis. Coursework covers core AI technologies and their application across engineering fields, including deep learning, applied artificial intelligence, computer vision, robotics, and software systems architecture. The program is designed to build practical AI skills that can be applied to engineering problems in industry. Admission standards match those for a Master's degree in engineering, and applicants are assessed against the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research eligibility requirements. International students may not be eligible for this program because of visa and study permit regulations. Graduates are prepared to apply artificial intelligence methods within their engineering discipline or to pursue further graduate study.
