Program details

Overview

This diploma centers on Indigenous peoples' languages, cultures, histories, knowledge systems, governance structures, and present-day realities on lands claimed by Canada's colonial-settler state, while teaching foundational research skills in that context. It can be completed full-time or part-time, or combined with a bachelor's degree, and suits those seeking proficiency in Indigenous content, the challenges facing Indigenous communities, along with foundational skills in cultural resource management.
