Overview
The Liberal Arts program begins with broad foundational courses in three main fields: Psychology, Sociology, and Philosophy. From there we delve deeper into each field and then branch outward into areas like Humanities, Politics, and Criminology. Students learn to integrate knowledge across disciplines in order to gain a larger picture of what’s going on in the world. Critical thinking, writing, research, and other professional skills are built and refined along the way. This is also a great pathway for students who are exploring their options for further postsecondary education.

Admission Requirements: Direct entry requires an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) with the majority of credits at the College (C), University (U), University/College (M) or Open (O) level; mature applicants (19 or older) without an OSSD may sit the College's admission tests in English and/or Math. The programme page sets no language score of its own, so St. Clair's institution-wide diploma-level English requirement applies: IELTS Academic 6.0 overall, TOEFL iBT 60, PTE Academic 52, CAEL 60, CELPIP General 7.0 in each module, or Duolingo 110, with results no more than two years old. Domestic applicants apply through Ontario Colleges, with February 1 as the equal-consideration date for the Fall term; international applicants apply through the International OCAS portal on a first-come, first-served basis. The programme begins each September.

International applicants apply through the International OCAS portal and are admitted on a rolling, first-come, first-served basis; St. Clair publishes no fixed international closing date. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
