Biology at St. Francis Xavier University is a Bachelor of Science delivered in person through the Faculty of Science on the Antigonish, Nova Scotia campus. Admission Requirements: The Biology page states no program-specific admission requirements and defers to StFX's general admission requirements; Biology is a major declared at the end of first year of the Bachelor of Science. For Nova Scotia applicants, the BSc requires English 12 or English 12: African Heritage, Pre-Calculus 12 or Calculus 12, two of Biology 12, Chemistry 12, Computer Science 12 or Computer Programming 12, Environmental Science 12 or Geology 12, or Physics 12, plus one further university-preparatory course. The university-wide minimum is an overall Grade 12 average of 70%, with no grade below 65% in each required subject. Applicants whose first language is not English must submit an approved test: IELTS 6.5 overall (no band below 6.0), TOEFL iBT 90 (no section below 20), Duolingo 115 (no subscore below 100), CAEL 70 (no band below 60), PTE Academic 60 (no score below 50), or MET 55.
