Chemistry is a four-year Bachelor of Science at The King's University combining laboratory-based coursework with research experience, preparing graduates for industry careers, graduate study, and professional programs. Students work in fully equipped teaching and research laboratories, including two 24-station chemistry labs and a dedicated research project lab, using instruments such as a UV-Vis spectrophotometer, FTIR spectrometer, and atomic absorption spectrometer. Students collaborate directly with faculty on research projects. The four-year degree is nationally accredited by the Chemical Institute of Canada and may qualify graduates for the Professional Chemist (P.Chem.) designation in Alberta.
