Event Management Certificate

Admission Requirements: The Event Management Certificate, delivered through TRU Open Learning, states open admission: the programme page sets no grade, subject or GPA entry threshold of its own, only recommending that applicants have basic computer skills before starting. A minimum of six TRU credits (distance or on-campus) is required toward residency for the 18-credit credential. No standardised English-language test score, portfolio, interview or work-experience requirement is stated on the programme page; applicants ultimately still need to satisfy Thompson Rivers University's general undergraduate admission bases -- a recognised secondary curriculum, transferable post-secondary credits, or mature-student status -- to be admitted to the university itself.
