Seniors Living Management Certificate

Admission Requirements: The program page for this distance certificate states open admission, requiring only the ability to use a computer and the internet at a basic level; open admission at Thompson Rivers University still runs through the university's general entry gate (recognised secondary-school graduation, IB diploma, 12+ transferable post-secondary credits, or mature-student status for applicants 19 or older). As an Open Learning offering, no standardized English test score is published for this program. Following admission and before enrolling in a practicum course, applicants must submit a Consent to a Criminal Record Check, and a clear record is a pre-practicum and pre-employment requirement; experience working or volunteering with active seniors is recommended, and practicum placements are limited to BC residents.
