Overview
The Certificate in Marketing at Université Laval develops competencies across the marketing process, from creating a product for a given market through pricing, distribution-network management and advertising to the final sale. The 30-credit programme is designed for full-time completion in about one year, part-time study is possible, and up to 15 credits of prior learning may be recognized. Study options include distance learning and hybrid formats, and some courses may be completed in English while coursework can still be submitted in French. Admission is open to Quebec DEC holders, to applicants from the rest of Canada with a secondary diploma plus one year of university study, and to international applicants with 13 years of pre-university education or 12 years plus one year of higher education. Non-francophone applicants must meet the university's French-language requirement. The certificate admits students in the Fall, Winter and Summer terms.
