The Certificate in Business Administration introduces the fundamentals of management and complementary business skills. The curriculum covers accounting, business economics, human resources management, taxation, marketing, and sales techniques. It comprises seven mandatory courses (21 credits) plus nine elective credits chosen from specialized areas such as entrepreneurship, financial analysis, project management, and organizational technology. The 30-credit, one-year, full-time program is offered on campus, at a distance, and in hybrid format depending on course selection, and admits new students in the fall, winter, and summer terms.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: For Quebec DEC holders: any DEC, plus successful completion of secondary-level mathematics (course 526 or 536, or equivalent technical/natural-science sequences) or equivalent college mathematics. For applicants from elsewhere in Canada: a secondary diploma plus one year of university study with satisfactory mathematics preparation. International applicants need a 13-year pre-university diploma, or 12 years plus one year of higher studies, with satisfactory mathematics preparation.
