Overview
The Biblical Studies and Theology - Pentecostal programme is a four-year Bachelor of Arts requiring 120 credit hours. It provides a biblical and theological education for students pursuing ministry credentials with Pentecostal denominations, including study of Pentecostal heritage and distinctives. Coursework covers New Testament Scripture, Christian theology, pastoral counselling, and the history of Pentecostal movements. Students may combine the major with a Christian Ministries minor in youth ministry, children's ministry, pastoral ministry, or intercultural ministry. Some ministry credentialing pathways connected to the programme include a supervised internship placement in a church or ministry setting. Classes are delivered mostly in person, with a portion of courses offered online, giving students some scheduling flexibility while keeping an on-campus core to the degree. Graduates are prepared for pastoral, teaching, and leadership roles within Pentecostal churches and related organizations.
