The Doctorat en mathematiques is a 90-credit research doctorate in the Departement de mathematiques et de statistique at Universite de Montreal, offering specializations in pure mathematics, applied mathematics, actuarial and financial mathematics, and mathematical engineering delivered jointly with Polytechnique Montreal. Students complete an original dissertation under faculty supervision, following a pathway with thesis. The program is offered full-time or part-time.
