This 45-credit master's program is an initiation to research aimed at optimizing pharmacotherapy, developing new targets, tools, and approaches for individualizing and improving drug treatment. Students choose a specialization in analysis, pharmacology, pharmaceutical technology, or pharmacogenomics. The program combines advanced coursework with a predominant experimental research component and is completed through a thesis or memoir, over a minimum of three full-time trimesters for the memoir option. It is offered full-time or part-time, with daytime courses at the Montreal campus, and admits students in the fall, winter, and summer terms. Admission requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a faculty member's prior agreement to direct the applicant's research before the application is submitted. Candidates educated outside French-language programs must demonstrate French proficiency at CEFR level B2, and good oral and written English comprehension is also required.
