This professional master's is the final component of an integrated bachelor-master continuum in physiotherapy, offered in partnership with the Universite de Montreal. Completed full-time over one full academic year across three trimesters, the 45-credit programme emphasizes clinical evaluation using standardized outcome measures and evidence-based therapeutic practice. Coursework builds advanced skills in the musculoskeletal and neurological systems as well as the cardiovascular and respiratory systems, and students complete clinical internships across a range of healthcare settings. Two elective courses are chosen from specialized options such as sports traumatology, manual therapy, pediatric physiotherapy, and emerging rehabilitation technologies. Admission is offered in the fall term on the Trois-Rivieres campus, normally to students continuing from UQTR's physiotherapy bachelor's degree or an equivalent programme, with a minimum cumulative average of 3.0 on a 4.3 scale. Sufficient knowledge of both French and English is required. Graduates are prepared to practise as licensed physiotherapists.
