The Doctorate in Psychology (Professional Path) at Université du Québec en Outaouais is a 120-credit, third-cycle program that prepares clinicians for evidence-based professional practice. It combines academic coursework, research training, and supervised clinical intervention across three specialization profiles: adult clinical psychology, child, adolescent and family psychology, and clinical neuropsychology. Of the 120 credits, 83 are clinical and 31 are research-based, with 6 optional credits, reflecting the program's practice-oriented, applied focus alongside its research requirement. The program is delivered full-time and in person at the Gatineau campus. Admission is limited by cohort size for each specialization profile and takes place once a year, in the fall trimester only. Selection combines evaluation of academic record, prior helping and research experience, a motivation letter, and a supervisor's recommendation, alongside interviews.
