The Université du Québec en Outaouais (UQO) is a French-language public university and a member of the Université du Québec network, with campuses in Gatineau (Outaouais) and Saint-Jérôme (Laurentides).

University teaching began in the region in 1971; the institution was officially created in 1981 as the Université du Québec à Hull and took its current name in 2002.
