Overview
This Bachelor of Engineering (B.Ing.) in Industrial Engineering focuses on optimizing production systems for goods and services in manufacturing and service industries, covering how organizations design, plan, and control their operations. The 120-credit programme, completed over four years of full-time study, offers five concentration options: generalist, supply chain engineering, digital intelligence systems, enterprise system informatization, and productive and distributive systems. It includes integrator projects submitted by industry partners, one mandatory paid internship of 12 to 15 weeks, and up to three additional optional paid internships. It is offered by Université Laval's Faculty of Science and Engineering with admission sessions in fall and winter. The programme is designed so students choose their concentration after completing the shared foundational coursework in the earlier years of study.
