This programme trains sport interventionists to work with athletes of all levels and ages, combining biological and human-science courses with professional functions in coaching, training delivery and sport organization management. Students complete three internships in sports settings and learn evidence-based intervention methods and modern performance-analysis technologies. The Bachelor of Science credential spans 93 credits over three years of full-time study. On completion, graduates qualify for accreditation at the 'introduction to competition' level under Canada's National Coaching Certification Program. The programme prepares graduates for careers coaching and managing sport programmes at community, provincial and national organizations, and provides a foundation for further study in sport science, kinesiology or sport management.
