Epidemiology (Thesis) (Master's)

This Master of Science in Epidemiology, thesis option, is a 45-credit program at Universite Laval with an estimated full-time duration of two years; up to 10 credits of prior learning may be recognized. Epidemiology is described as a fundamental science of public health and population health, and the program develops expertise in disease prevention, screening, health care evaluation, and the assessment of public health programs. No prior training in epidemiology, biostatistics, or health is required for admission. Some courses may be offered at a distance or in hybrid format. Admission requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent, and applicants must find a research supervisor within their first or second term. Good proficiency in both French and English is required. Applicants must submit a CV and a motivation letter of one to two pages. Admission is offered for the fall term only.
