The Indigenous Education program at the University of Lethbridge examines how Indigenous perspectives relate to disciplines including art, law, philosophy, politics, history, gender studies, ecology, business, customs, and language. It is available as a combined Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Education degree or as a Bachelor of Education after-degree for students who already hold an approved undergraduate degree. Students in the combined-degree route must complete three of seven required Indigenous Studies courses before admission to the Faculty of Education. The program is delivered on-campus at the Lethbridge campus, with admission in the Fall term.

Admission Requirements: Admission to the combined Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Education route requires meeting the entry requirements of the chosen non-education degree, plus completion of three of the seven required Indigenous Studies courses before admission to the Faculty of Education; transfer applicants must hold a minimum overall GPA of 2.00 on the University of Lethbridge's 4.00 scale while meeting all additional prerequisite courses. The after-degree Bachelor of Education route requires an approved undergraduate degree with an overall GPA of 2.00, completion of Education 2500, and a minimum number of courses in the teaching subject major with an average GPA of 2.00. The program admits in Fall only.
