Overview
This Marketing program leads to a Master of Science in Management and examines the creation, communication, delivery and exchange of offerings that have value for customers, clients, partners and society at large, with an emphasis on applying marketing techniques to encourage positive behaviour change in health, environmental and non-profit contexts. The program combines coursework with thesis research and an optional co-operative education placement, and is delivered in-person at both the Lethbridge and Calgary campuses. Full-time students typically complete the program in 20 months, with part-time study taking up to 40 months. The program admits in the Fall term only, and applicants must secure a potential thesis supervisor before applying. Graduates are prepared for research, consulting and marketing-research roles, and the program also serves as a bridge into PhD studies for students pursuing further marketing scholarship.
