Direct Entry (Manitoba high school students, fewer than 24 post-secondary credit hours): minimum average of 80% over English 40S, Pre-Calculus Mathematics 40S, Chemistry 40S, and Physics 40S, with no less than 70% in each course. Advanced Entry: for applicants with 24+ post-secondary credit hours, including the preliminary-year engineering route. Entry into the Computer Engineering major itself requires first completing a minimum of 8 of the 12 first-year engineering courses (e.g. MATH 1210, MATH 1510/1710, PHYS 1050, CHEM 1100, ENG 1430/1440/1450/1460, COMP 1012) with at least a C in each, ranked by the best 8 grades. Meeting these minimums does not guarantee admission.
