Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering

This Master of Engineering is a coursework-based professional degree in UNB's Chemical Engineering department, distinct from the department's thesis-based MScE and PhD options. Full-time students typically complete the program in about one year, with entry available on a more limited basis than the research degrees. Coursework draws on the department's research strengths, which include catalysis, nuclear materials, pulp and paper processing, gas separation, polymers, nanotechnology, and biorefinery development, and students may use laboratories such as the Materials Surface Characterization Laboratory, the Limerick Pulp and Paper facility, and the UNB Hydroprocessing Laboratory.
