The Bachelor of Social Sciences with double Minor is a 120-unit undergraduate degree from the Faculty of Social Sciences that combines a core in the social sciences with two separate minors. The core includes compulsory courses in introduction to social sciences and social sciences research methods, plus additional optional and designated-program units, totalling roughly 24 units of core content. Each of the two minors requires 30 units, drawn from the Faculty of Social Sciences or another faculty. The remaining 30 units are a combination of a third minor, options and general electives. Students must also complete 6 units of writing skills courses, and at least 27 course units overall must be taken at the 3000 or 4000 level. The program pairs foundational social science knowledge with two areas of secondary specialization, serving as a springboard to further studies in fields such as law or education.
