Program details

Overview

The Master of Interdisciplinary Artificial Intelligence (MIAI) is a fully online graduate program giving students the opportunity for master's-level study across a broad range of areas that emphasize transdisciplinary work in the context of general systems analysis. The program develops students' ability to communicate and collaborate across disciplines, apply artificial intelligence tools to lead and manage complex systems, and build combined skills in management, technology, communications and data science. Delivered entirely online, the program suits students who want to apply AI methods within an interdisciplinary framework rather than specialize in a single technical domain, and it draws on prerequisite grounding in probability, linear algebra, differential equations and computer programming brought in from the admitting degree. Full-time students are expected to complete the degree requirements within two years. The program leads to a Master of Interdisciplinary Artificial Intelligence credential.
