University of Regina offers BA/BS in International Studies, a bachelor's degree in Global Studies programme in Regina, Canada. The programme runs for 4 years. Tuition for international students is CAD 978 per credit (CAD 280 per credit for local students).
International Studies at the University of Regina leads to a Bachelor of Arts, or Bachelor of Arts Honours, over four years, drawing on international and regional area studies to examine the political, economic, and cultural structures that connect countries around the world. Students choose between two areas of concentration: International Affairs, which focuses on the political, economic, and cultural dimensions of global issues, or International Development, which addresses topics such as poverty alleviation and displacement. The program also offers a standalone certificate for students who want a shorter credential. Coursework draws on political science, history, and anthropology, taught in small classes with close faculty contact. Students have the option to pursue study-abroad terms at partner institutions in cities such as Barcelona, Shanghai, Seoul, and Milan, and the program's location in Saskatchewan's capital supports access to co-op placements and internships connected to government and international organizations. It suits students who want to understand global governance, development, and international affairs processes and who are considering careers that engage directly with these issues. Graduates go on to work in federal and provincial government, diplomatic service, international organizations, non-governmental organizations, education, and business.
