The Graduate Certificate in Hydrology at the University of Saskatchewan gives working professionals applied skills for practice in physical hydrology, covering concepts, tools, quantitative methods, and field skills used in water-resources work. It is aimed at those working, or wanting to work, in applied water-resources fields and water-science institutions, and can be taken as a standalone credential or used to ladder into a graduate degree program. The certificate consists of 9 credit units delivered as three courses, which students may complete at their own pace. Courses are given intensively and sequentially at the University of Calgary's Kananaskis Field Station in Alberta, with online options also available. Admission requires prior undergraduate coursework in hydrology. The program is administered through the College of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.
