The Master of Arts (MA) in Classics, offered by the Department of Classics at the University of Toronto, provides graduate training in one of the largest classics graduate faculties in North America, with students concentrating in either Ancient History and Material Culture or Greek and Roman Literature and Culture. Admission requires an appropriate bachelor's program in classics or a related field, with at least a B+ average in the final year, together with the equivalent of three years of training in Greek or Latin (two years of the other language is recommended for the Literature and Culture field).
