The individualized master's program (maitrise individualisee) is a 45-credit graduate degree for pluridisciplinary training when no existing program fits a student's proposed area of study. Each candidate's program of study and academic committee are built around their specific research project, and the credential is issued as a maitrise individualisee in the chosen domain. Completion follows a coursework track or a directed-work track; there is no thesis option. Full-time and part-time study are both available. Daytime courses are delivered on-campus at the Montreal campus. Admission requires a bachelor's degree and a completed study-plan form; candidates must also secure a host academic unit willing to provide academic and administrative support for the proposed project. International students must pay a 1,000 CAD deposit upon acceptance. Program code 2-960-1-5.
