Overview
The Rotman Global Executive MBA (GEMBA) is a dual-degree program delivered jointly with SDA Bocconi School of Management in Milan, awarding degrees from both institutions on completion. The 18-month program is built for experienced, currently employed professionals and runs in modules across business centres on four continents, including Toronto and Milan, while participants continue working. The curriculum addresses digital transformation, sustainable finance, behavioural economics and workplace gender equity alongside core leadership and management training aimed at senior global roles. The program begins in November. Admission requires a recognized undergraduate degree or equivalent, a minimum of five years of full-time work experience with at least two years at the management level, current full-time employment, and evidence of teamwork and leadership experience. Applicants must complete an accepted entrance exam – the Executive Assessment, Rotman's own EDT, the SDA Bocconi diagnostic test, the GMAT or the GRE, valid within five years. The credential awarded is a Master of Business Administration (MBA).

Admission Requirements: Admission requires a recognized undergraduate degree or equivalent and a minimum of five years of full-time work experience, including at least two years at the management level. Applicants must be currently employed full-time and demonstrate teamwork and leadership experience. An accepted entrance exam is required: the Executive Assessment, Rotman's own Executive MBA Diagnostic Tool (EDT), the SDA Bocconi diagnostic test, the GMAT or the GRE, valid within five years. A minimum GPA of 3.0 (mid-B average) in the final year of the bachelor's degree is required. Applicants whose first language is not English must submit an accepted English proficiency test score: IELTS Academic overall 7.0 with a minimum of 6.5 in each component, or TOEFL iBT overall 4.5/6.0 with a minimum of 4.5 in Writing and 4.0 in Speaking.
