Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA)

The Executive MBA at SFU's Beedie School of Business is a part-time programme for senior professionals seeking career advancement, delivered over 20 months from the school's downtown Vancouver campus. The curriculum keeps working executives current on strategic decision-making, leadership, and management practice while they continue full-time employment. Classes begin in September and follow a cohort-based, in-person format built around the schedules of senior managers; the typical incoming class has around 18 to 21 years of total work experience, including roughly 10 years in management. Students may add an optional international component in the second year through the Americas MBA. The Beedie School of Business holds both AACSB and EQUIS accreditation. Graduates commonly use the credential to progress within their current organisation or to move into new senior roles, and survey data shows a majority report a job-level increase after completing the programme. The Executive MBA culminates in the Master of Business Administration credential.
