Overview
UVic's Master of Engineering in Aerospace Systems Engineering is a three-term, course-based degree for mid-career professionals and recent graduates entering the aerospace sector. Its emphasis falls on autonomous aerial vehicles, and the curriculum deliberately blends conventional aerospace engineering with newer strands: hybrid-electric propulsion, multifunctional composite materials, machine learning and artificial intelligence applied to autonomous flight operations. Hands-on capstone projects have interdisciplinary teams design, build and test innovative aerial vehicles, with collaboration opportunities through the Centre for Aerospace Research and student-led aerospace teams. Admission Requirements: This University of Victoria Master of Engineering program requires an undergraduate degree in engineering or applied science; applicants holding a different degree may still be considered if they have relevant industrial experience.
