Overview
Religion, Culture, and Spirituality is an Honours Bachelor of Arts major at the University of Waterloo examining how religions have influenced politics, economics, culture, art, science and society throughout history. The major offers more than 100 undergraduate courses covering world religions, Jewish studies, Christian traditions, and religious culture and society, with links to the Department of Religion and Culture at the neighbouring Wilfrid Laurier University. The major is available with an optional co-op work-term sequence, extending the four-year honours degree to five years when co-op terms are included. Ontario secondary school applicants apply through the Ontario Universities' Application Centre with six Grade 12 U or M courses, including a Grade 12 U English course with a minimum final grade of 70%; the competitive admission average for recent cycles has been in the high 70s. The programme begins in the September term.
