This research-based Master of Mathematics program combines Applied Mathematics coursework and research with aeronautics training delivered through Waterloo's Collaborative Aeronautics Program. Students undertake mathematics-based research addressing challenges related to aviation, aerospace, and space, connecting theoretical mathematics to applied problems in these fields. Admission requires a four-year honours bachelor's degree with a specialization in mathematics, or in science or engineering with a strong concentration in mathematics, together with an overall average of at least 78% (or its equivalent) in undergraduate work.
