Overview
This research-based Master of Mathematics program combines Applied Mathematics coursework and research with a specialization in water-related science, delivered through a collaborative program. Students complete two interdisciplinary water courses involving lectures, fieldwork, and research seminars, alongside coursework applying mathematical theory to fundamental and applied sciences. Admission requires a four-year honours bachelor's degree with a specialization in mathematics, or in science or engineering with a strong concentration in mathematics, together with an overall average of at least 78% (or its equivalent) in undergraduate work. The program is delivered on-campus, full-time, with a nominal length of 24 months. Graduates are prepared for PhD studies or for careers in academia, government, or industry. Students are admitted in the Fall, Winter, and Spring terms.
