Overview
Political Science at the University of Windsor introduces students to political, economic, social, and environmental issues in Canada and around the world, examining how political power operates domestically and internationally. The program is offered as a three-year General degree or a four-year Honours Bachelor of Arts, with a co-op option that places students in local government, non-profit organizations, and other public-sector settings, and an optional undergraduate thesis. Students can take part in a study-abroad course that includes travel to European Union and NATO headquarters in Brussels, Belgium. The program can also be combined with other subjects through Combined Honours arrangements. Graduates pursue careers or further study in public service, government, non-profit and international organizations, law, journalism, and public policy.
