Requirements
Admission Requirements: Admission requires Grade 12 graduation or equivalent, English-language proficiency at a grade-12 level, and mathematics shown either by Workplace Math 11 or equivalent, or by VCC's own Math Assessment with 80% on Basic Arithmetic and 60% on Basic Algebra; no standardized English test score (IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, Duolingo, CAEL) is published, and applicants who fall short of the English bar may still be admitted at the department's discretion. Applicants who completed high-school Drafting 11 and 12, or who hold VCC's CAD Technician Short Certificate, may apply for direct entry into term 2 with departmental approval. General VCC conditions also apply: Canadian citizenship or permanent residency, age 16 or older or secondary-school graduation, and a complete application with official transcripts and other required documents.
