Overview
The Master of Clinical Science (MClSc) in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Western University is a clinical program offered in the fields of audiology and speech-language pathology. It is completed over a two-year, six-term, full-time, in-person curriculum combining classroom and laboratory work with clinical placement experience. Students must complete mandatory immunizations, vaccinations and other medical and non-medical requirements, and obtain a police Vulnerable Sector Screening before clinical placements, which may take place outside the student's home city or province and are paid for by the student. The program is run by the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders and suits students with a strong foundation in math, anatomy and physiology, and science who are seeking a clinical qualification in audiology or speech-language pathology.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: Applicants need a four-year undergraduate degree from a recognized university or college, along with required prerequisite courses and volunteer experience. Applicants whose first language is not English must meet Western's proficiency requirement, for example IELTS Academic 7.5 overall with no individual score below 6, or the equivalent TOEFL iBT or Duolingo English Test score.
