This program combines a policy-focused education in economics with CPA-accredited training in accounting, delivered through the AACSB-accredited Lazaridis School of Business and Economics. Students build a foundation in accounting principles, economic theory, and critical thinking, developing the skills to read financial statements and analyze broader economic conditions for decision-making. It leads to a Bachelor of Arts over four years of full-time study, delivered on campus, with intakes in September and January. Admission for Ontario secondary school applicants is based on an average in the low 80s, including Grade 12 English at a minimum of 70%, Advanced Functions at a minimum of 70%, and either Calculus and Vectors or Data Management at a minimum of 60%. International applicants are assessed on an equivalent average with senior secondary English at a minimum of 70% and senior secondary mathematics covering algebra, trigonometry, and functions at a minimum of 70%.
