The Certificate in Theological Studies (CTS) is an entry-level theological credential offered by Wycliffe College, a member college of the Toronto School of Theology. The programme covers foundational theological study across five core courses at the 1000 level, including Old Testament, New Testament, History of Christianity, and Theology, plus one further core course chosen from ethics, philosophy, comparative theology, apologetics, pastoral theology, or spirituality, together with two elective courses at the 2000-3000 level, for a total of seven credits. Electives may be drawn from more than 300 course options offered across the member colleges of the Toronto School of Theology. The CTS can be completed full-time in one year or part-time over up to four years, with full-time, part-time, evening, weekend, and online study formats, including online, summer, and intensive courses offered regularly. Applications are accepted for the Fall and Winter terms.

Admission Requirements: Applicants should have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from an accredited college or university with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7 (or equivalent). Students who have not completed a previous degree in English must demonstrate English language proficiency through a recognized language exam. Applications are accepted for Fall (September, deadline June 30) and Winter (January, deadline October 31) entry.
