York University's bilingual Certificate in Refugee and Migration Studies (Études sur la migration et sur les réfugiés) is offered through Glendon College and examines the causes of forced migration, the ethical and legal issues it raises, its impact on individuals and refugee communities, and its implications for wider society. The certificate draws on French- and English-language coursework, reflecting Glendon's bilingual mandate, and its title is published in both languages. It is available full-time or part-time, with admission in the Fall, Winter or Summer term. Students may pursue the certificate while enrolled in another degree (concurrent entry), after completing one (consecutive entry), or independently as a standalone credential (direct entry).
