The Bachelor of Border Management is a three-year, 360-credit-point single or double major run by FNU, aimed at the customs and border-control side of international trade. Per the programme page, rising risks in cross-border and online trade have made border management increasingly central to a country's economy, trade and security, and the course is built around case studies and assessments tied to students' own workplaces so they can apply what they learn directly on the job. It draws on law, public administration and management to give graduates working knowledge of trade regulation, trade facilitation and customs administration, aimed at both government agencies and private-sector employers.
Entry requires a pass in Year 13 with at least 250 out of 400 marks and 50% or more in English. A Diploma in Customs (Level 5), mature age, recognised prior learning or relevant professional experience can also qualify an applicant at the Head of Department's discretion, and special consideration is given to those who hold a Certificate IV from OCO and have graduated from CCES.
