Master of Engineering, Science and Technology by Research

This Masters by Research develops research skills and training for critical analysis, synthesis and reflection on complex information, problems, concepts and theories, in the engineering and science fields. It prepares candidates for further doctoral study or for employment in senior, research-based management positions in public- or private-sector organisations. The programme runs for two years and is worth 240 credit points. Entry is available through a Postgraduate Diploma passed at a GPA no lower than 3.00 (or its recognised equivalent), a Bachelor's degree with a GPA of 3.5, an honours Bachelor's degree with a GPA of 3.00, a Master's by coursework, or recognised professional experience evidenced through research reports, dissertations, publications or other work that satisfies the Dean that the applicant can undertake research and thesis writing.
