MA/MS in Operations Management

The Master's programme in Operations Management at the University of Wuppertal focuses on planning and controlling logistics and production networks. Students learn to design and steer the processes that create products and deliver services, with attention to quality expectations and efficient use of resources. The curriculum combines business and economics, information technology and quantitative methods such as statistics and operations research. Graduates learn to model planning problems mathematically, analyse them and solve them with algorithms and modern information systems, and to assess the wider economic effects of supply-chain decisions. Applications are accepted for both the summer and the winter semester. Applicants with a German Bachelor's degree apply to the faculty examination board, while applicants with a foreign degree apply through uni-assist.
