This Bachelor of Engineering programme is run by the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Technology at Caribbean Maritime University and trains multi-disciplinary engineers able to analyse, design and develop solutions for industrial systems across local, regional and global markets. It targets supervisory and management-level roles and draws on AI-assisted, computer-based engineering methods within the curriculum.
The standard route runs four years full-time, with a five-year part-time option for students needing a slower pace. Entry calls for a minimum of five CSEC or GCE O'Level passes, or an equivalent international qualification, including Mathematics, English and two technical science subjects; candidates who have at least four years of related industrial experience, holding O'Level passes covering Mathematics, English and a single technical science subject, may also qualify.
